Due to the state government directive to implement lockdown restrictions effective 6pm Tuesday, 20 July 2021 for the next seven days, SafeWork SA has implemented a range of measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and the community.

Help Centre

Our customer telephone services will continue operating but with possible service interruptions.

Critical and emergency incidents will be dealt with as a priority and there may be delays to other general enquiries and requests.

Our head office at Keswick and regional offices remain closed to the public.

Licensing services

Our licensing telephone services will continue operating but with possible service interruptions.

Where possible, please use our self-service portal for licensing renewals and transactions.

High Risk Work licences holders can either renew their licences online or go online to print a tax invoice. We are unable to accept payment for High Risk Work licences over the phone as the licensee must complete a legal declaration of competency.

Due to the lock down measures in place there may be delays in processing licencing applications and renewals.  We will process licence applications and renewals as quickly as possible and apologise for any delays and appreciate your patience. If you are waiting for a licence, please keep a copy of your receipt on you when working as evidence of payment.

Compliance and Enforcement

Our inspectors will continue to respond to matters involving serious incidents or fatalities in the usual way. You can continue to notify us of incidents online.
