New guidance material has been published on SafeWork SA’s website about the management of WHS risks associated with family and domestic violence in the workplace.
The six pages sit under the ‘Workers’ tab on the SafeWork SA website and cover topics including:
- Employer and Employee responsibilities
- Managing the risk of family and domestic violence at workplaces
- Creating a workplace response to domestic and family violence
- Family and domestic violence leave
- Workers who use or may use violence and aggression
- Handy links if you need more help.
The material has been based on guidance issued by Safe Work Australia and supports the Government’s election commitment to update work health and safety education about family and domestic violence.
