The way you work with SafeWork SA is changing. From 21 September, most SafeWork SA licences and notifications will be managed through one online portal. Visit the webpage to understand the changes and what they mean for you. A planned outage to enable the change will occur from 4pm on Friday 18 September to 8am Monday 21 September.

SafeWork SA administers 18 licence types to help manage a range of hazards including fireworks, asbestos, ammonium nitrate and gas.
High Risk Work Licence Check
High Risk Work licences

High risk work licences are required for a number of tasks including crane and hoist operation, forklift operation and scaffolding work.
High Risk Work Licence Client Portal

The High Risk Work Licence Client portal is available to HRW licence holders for renewing a licence and updating contact information.
Pay a licence or fine

Licence fees or fines can be paid to SafeWork SA online, by phone or by post.
Licence holder registers

SafeWork SA maintains licence holder registers for high-risk work, dangerous goods and asbestos.
Automatic mutual recognition of licences

Workers who hold certain licences or registrations may be able to work interstate using their current licence under AMR rules.
Accredited assessor / Training provider portal

The High Risk Work Licence portal is a resource for Accredited Assessors and Registered Training Organisations.
White card
