A consultation draft of the Portable Long Service Leave Regulations 2025 is now open for feedback.
The draft regulations have been developed in close consultation with the Community Services Sector Long Service Leave Board to support the operation of the Portable Long Service Leave Act 2024 and the commencement of portable leave to the community services sector in South Australia.
The draft Portable Long Service Leave Regulations 2025 are now available for a period of public consultation. Should you wish to provide comment on the draft Regulations, please do so in writing and email to SWSAPolicy@sa.gov.au.
Please ensure your comments are provided by Friday 23 May 2025.
The Government will carefully consider all feedback on the draft Regulations prior to settling the Regulations for commencement alongside the remaining provisions of the Act on 1 October 2025, which has been determined by the Board as the date of commencement of the community services scheme.
