Earlier this year a quarry worker received fatal injuries when attempting to clear a blockage from a mobile impact crusher. The crusher was not in operation at the time of the incident. We remind all mining operators of the need to develop and implement safe system of work for the use and maintenance of mobile impact crushers in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
